Kelly Brannon formed Brannon Title Consulting (BTC) in 2025 as a dynamic and flexible way to support land trusts, state and federal governmental agencies, and private landowners (including aspiring landowners!) in analyzing property interests to be acquired for forest and natural resource conservation purposes during her transition from the federal government to the private sector.
A self-proclaimed “title nerd,” Brannon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1999) and a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School (2018) with concentrations on Property Law, Native American Law, and Administrative Law.
She has helped to conserve over 1.5 million acres of federal and state public lands and privately-held forest operations.
Brannon exemplifies her passion for teaching the trade, diving deep into details, and maintaining a positive and creative mindset towards resolving title issues in every project she joins.
Brannon is a diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility advocate, and collaboration champion.
